Thu, Jul 22nd, 2010 12:26:00 pm - At 0719 hours, Rescue 3 and Howlett Hill Engine 6 were dispatched to a vehicle accident with one trapped in front of Split Rock Elementary School. Rescue 3 arrived to find the vehicle upside down in a ditch with an elderly male still inside. The crew of 3 was able to gain access through the back of the vehicle and quickly immobilized the patient securing him to a cervical collar and backboard for transport. ...Continued

Mon, Jul 12th, 2010 10:20:00 pm - Just before the afternoon rush hour at 1529 hours, Engine 6 and Car 2 responded to a natural gas line rupture at the Onondaga Hill Fire Department. The 3" pipeline was struck while construction crews were working on building renovations. Crews from Onondaga Hill, Fairmount and Camillus also stood by on scene for approximately 3 hours until National Grid could repair the ruptured pipeline. ...Continued

Upon arrival Fairmount units had a head on collision with multiple patients and one vehicle required extrication. First arriving companies had a moderate smoke condition in the basement of the home due to a household appliance that caught fire.
