04/03/08 - Just before 1400 hours, Engine 94 ran a reported apartment fire in the Weather Ridge section of Camillus.  The Engine and Fairmount’s Tower Ladder arrived to find heavy fire conditions and reports of trapped occupants.  Not long after, command requested a second alarm which brought Ladder 5 to the scene as well.  Crews operated for several hours before returning to service.

02/23/2008 - Around 0730 hours on a very cold Saturday morning the Rescue assignment was sent for a Personal Injury Auto Accident in Onondaga Hill.  Rescue Pumper 3 and Squad 2 arrived to find one vehicle off the road with the driver trapped.  Crews made quick work stabilizing the vehicle removing both the roof and the drivers side door.

02/22/08 - Just before 1500 hours Engine 6 ran a reported basement fire in the Onondaga Hill area with surrounding companies. The crew stretched a 2^nd line into the home while Onondaga Hill Engine 3 knocked down the bulk of the fire. The Engine crew also checked for extension and set up several fans and lights to assist investigators.

02/19/08 - Just before 1100 hours Village of Solvay residents noticed smoke coming from a 2 family home on Second Street. Ladder 5 and Car 2 arrived performing truck company operations which included throwing several ground ladders and assisting Solvay with overhaul.

02/06/08 - Just after 1400 hours, Ladder 5 headed to South Central Fairmount on a reported chimney fire.  First arriving Fairmount Engine, Truck and Chief reported an active chimney fire holding all units.  The fire was contained to the chimney with no extension into the home.  While the Ladder crew was picking up in Fairmount, Rescue Pumper 3 was dispatched on a possible hazardous condition inside Coulter Library at the Onondaga Community College Campus.  The Rescue Pumper crew first arriving found a mechanical failure with a small anti-freeze spill causing a smoke odor inside the library with no fire.  Shortly after returning to quarters, the Rescue Pumper was back on the road for a personal injury auto accident in Onondaga Hill.  This is just another day for the very dedicated and professional volunteer firefighters in Taunton.

01/31/08 - Just after 1500 hours Engine 6, Ladder 5 and Squad 2 ran a reported stove fire in the Buxton Woods section of Taunton.  A malfunctioning electric stove caught fire sending smoke through the house.  Crews contained the fire to the stove and ventilated returning to service a short time later.

01/24/08 - Shortly after 0900 hours, Engine 6 and Ladder 5 were dispatched on a reported house fire in the Tabitha Creek section of Onondaga Hill.  Both units first arriving found a small fire in the garage with no extension into the home.  Crews operated for just under an hour before returning to service.
