| RESCUE 3 AND SQUAD 2 ARRIVED: HEAVY FIRE SHOWING FROM FIRST DUE DWELLING |

At 1016 hours, companies were dispatched to a reported bedroom fire at 4897 Westview Drive in the Sherwood Farms section of Onondaga. The crew of Rescue 3 and Squad 2 arrived with heavy smoke and fire showing from the single story wood frame dwelling. Volunteers began a very aggressive interior attack on the fire getting it under control within 10 minutes. Firefighters from Onondaga Hill, Fairmount, Solvay, Howlett Hill and Lakeside also responded to the scene performing various tasks. No injuries were reported by any of the occupants however one firefighter was transported for heat exhaustion. |
